Born and raised in Utah, Alec’s story was rooted in faith, family, and community. A proud Skaggs Catholic Center Lifer, he carried the values instilled in him—integrity, compassion, and service—into every corner of his life. Alec graduated with the Juan Diego Catholic High School Class of 2016, where he became a beloved friend and classmate. Teachers, peers, and mentors recall his contagious laughter, his bright personality, and his remarkable ability to make people feel seen and appreciated. Alec was the type of person who could light up an entire room simply by being himself.
Alec’s devotion to family was the cornerstone of his life. As the loving son of Jeff and Susan Meyer, he grew up with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for the values they instilled in him. His family recalls countless moments of joy, shared traditions, and unwavering support that defined their bond. He also shared a unique and special relationship with his best friend Brittany, who stood by him through every chapter of his journey.
